How it works?
It automatically identify your capture region are ordinary text or images text,
and intelligent call the underlying function and the Microsoft office OCR engine to perform text recognition.
How do I use it?
After downloading the program, double-click on the icon and follow the instructions on the screen.
Vonasoft Capture Text will install itself under "Vonasoft CaptureText" menu in your Programs folder.
When you launch the program a toolbar with appear on the top of computer desktop.
Click first button, text you see on the screen - just select it with the mouse and it will be copied
to the clipboard. You can paste it into any document using any type of word
processor.
How do I install the OCR support?
When I capture the text in picture, Vonasoft Capture Text popup options window, the problem is due to the default installation with Microsoft Office 2003/2007, OCR or Document and Imaging does not installed itself in the default installation.
Hold your horses, you don't need to uninstall and reinstall Microsoft Office 2007, simple hit the 'add and remove' button in Control Panel and select ¡®Change¡¯
Select the 'add and remove feature' radio button and select 'next'
In the following dialog box, select 'Office Tool'> 'Microsoft Office Document Imaging' > ' Scanning, OCR and Indexing Service Filter' and under the drop down list choose ¡®run from computer¡¯ and proceed with the installation.
There you go, now you¡¯ve just enabled OCR.
